I-40 This morning

Is ther any information about what happened inside the Corridor of Death this morning just past Dave Ward? I heard it was not good.

Kind of I was lucky enough to ease over and be about 15 cars back when I-40 turned into a parking lot and go DW to Mayflower.

I-40 wreck

Some sort of wreck, i would think,

According to the Obama Admin, a truck driven by one G.W. Bush of Texas caused the wreck with an illegal right turn.

I was there for the aftermath...

It wasn't really all that bad this morning. I only sat stopped in the interstate for 40 minutes or so. It was a truck pulling a trailer full of some sort of building materials that turned over. Metal, (now scrap metal) was strewn everywhere.

I make the commute daily and frankly, I'm not sure why there's not more accidents. People just don't drive right. :) They ride up real close behind you and tailgate, pass on the right then cut over in front of you, and for what? where are they going to go? They're going to risk theirs and everyone else's lives to get to work .05 seconds faster? It's a mess and "the corridor of death" (i like that) just makes it worse.

So were there two accidents?
Do not see much debris on the truck into the lake?

Also still weird for Eastbound to be backed up for miles when one can not even see the accident and both lanes were open, now 16 mile backup going west is very understandable.
