Today, 11 years ago, was the worst loss of life from a single attack by an enemy. I can still remember watching as the towers fell how sick I felt knowing that there were probably thousands still in the buildings. Watching people jumping to avoid the fires, knowing ther was no hope for escape. All that played out before our eyes, and for me, I will never forget.
Now, 11 years later, I hear and read how people are tired of the war and we need to bring our troops home. This makes me equally as sad, because for the people who say that, they have forgotten everything about that day, 9/11/01. They have forgotten the lives lost and anger we all felt that day. Everyone was saying We will hunt the terrorists down until the are all gone. They have forgotten, plain and simple.
President Bush said we will hunt down all the terrorists and destroy anyone who harbors them. For those of you sick of war because of the lives lost fighting, did you think we would just go in without any losses? Just what did you expect? Now 11 years later, and I have not looked up the number, but guess it to be less than than 6000 lost, too many people have lost the stomache to see this thru to the rightful end.
If you think al Qaeda is eliminated because bin Laden is dead, you are wrong. If you think they are not planning on killing Americans, you are wrong. They are preparing to strike, and when let our guard down again, they will attack. They will attack without remorse, and they will strive to kill more than 11 years ago. Obama has forgotten, or we would not pulling out of Afghanistan.
Lets not forget, Bill Clinton signed into law, mandating a regime change in Iraq. President Bush, took that to the extreme, but he did the job. he used some bad intel to justify, even made new reasons when one was proven to be wrong, but in the end, the law was carried out.
All I am saying is that if we stop now without the job being finished, we are saying to all terroists and the rest of the world is that the Americans talk big, but can nor do they have the stomache to finish what they say. We discredit everyone who died on 9/11 and every military memeber who gave all since when we give into the terrorists.
So, please do not forget 9/11. make our children watch those planes flying into the towers every day, and show them what complacency will lead too. Tell them to not be afraid, but to be on guard. Teach them to finish a mission until it is complete.

Oh yeah, and thank you George Bush for having the courage to make the hard decisions and giving notice to the terrorists.
BUT!!!!
Bush Said Mission Accomplished

He was announcing an end to
He was announcing an end to "major combat operations". Unfortuneatley, he and the military planners never invisioned an insurgency as determined as the one we faced. As much as i am in support of the war and GB, I wish they had put more thought into that aspect.
Well....
Get your facts straight or buzzofff
"I just don't spend that much
"I just don't spend that much time on him." -- G.W. Bush

YEAH! Thanks A LOT.
So now you are linking
So now you are linking Michael Moore? The entire film was nothing more that cut and paste to make it say what he wanted to. Sounds alot like you Quill.
You really should try to be original.
I hate to point this out...
but, we will NEVER get all the terrorists. For every one we get, two more will rise up. This is a never-ending war, and we should seriously consider the fact that maybe we messed up how we handled it in the beginning. Beside the fact, Arab terrorists are not near the threat to our liberties as our own government has become.
My personal take on 9/11...
can be found here (minus the bad language :-)).

Exactly right
and that is reason even more, not to give up the fight now. If we quit before they say "uncle" then we have lost.
What are you saying?
You make no sense. It almost seems like you are saying we had no right to attack al Qaeda.
