Jobs

I just saw an ad next to one of the blog saying the McDonalds in Vilonia will be open soon and has 50 positions available. It makes me wonder if the president is kicked back smug in his chair saying, "You're welcome Vilonia"

I find it a little odd that Obama has been saying all along how the pathetic job growth that has happened  over, lets just say, the last 9 months is a great step in the right direction. The economy is getting better. Just where is this happening? The latest job numbers are our ans here are the results. 96,000 new jobs created and 368,000 dropping out of the workforce, or in other words gave up.

President Obama said "this is not good enough". He came up 45K jobs short just to keep up with population growth and he says this is not good enough. Mr. President, 160,000 jobs would be "not good enough". 96,000 is worse than not good enough. Why would he attached the word "good" to a step backwards. In my book that would be called failure.

It is the economy that is the main focus of this election. Obama wants to deflect as much attention from this as possible by personally attacking Romney with hate ads or making sure that same sex marriage is part of their platform. It is time the Dems start focusing on whats important. Hopefully getting fired will prove that to them

Good Jobs

I wish the job report would say how many of the jobs created were jobs that actually paid good enough to keep or prevent a person from being below poverty level or off assistance.

what?

Jobs that are above the poverty level are NOT what keep Dems in business! They need the tired, the hungry and the poor. Who else is going to vote for them?

I drove through the city of Vilonia last week, instead of taking the bypass, (needed to fuel up) and was really impressed/amazed how good it looked. Ain't no tornado gonna keep 'em down...way to go Vilonia!

Well.....

The election should be about issues such as the economy, the debt and the transformation of the country as BO promised. Instead, the race is even because half the country thinks BO cares about them. He's just an average guy looking out for the average little guy.

How long will that play for the left?

The race is no longer even

Obama is leading because he is persuading the middle while Romney has tried to please his right wing base, both with his rhetoric and with his choice of Ryan for VP.

Well.......

Persuading the middle of what? What retoric? Ryan knows Democrats never have a department of unintentional consequences and he has ideas and proposals to stop the free fall they created.....

What will forward get us? Ha ha ha ha.........
