During my time with the Cabin, I have been able to skirt by without having to write one of these things. However, the powers that be have informed me that I must now blog. As a frame of reference, I have never had a blog prior to this, nor a twitter account or any such nonsense. Hell, I rarely even update my status on Facebook. Thus, I don’t know where to begin… but I’ll give it a whirl regardless.
To start, I suppose I can lay out what I do exactly. I recently was appointed the position of Multimedia Producer for the Cabin, i.e. shooting video, photos and the like. Not much has changed from my original job (videographer) with just the added inclusion of more photos and slideshows.
Outside of work, one would think that I’d have a hobby, pastime, or interest that is separate from the daily grind of producing videos. As it would seem, I don’t really. Currently, I am finishing up production on a short horror film, producing a thesis project for a friend of mine at UCA, a music video for former local band Don’t Stop Please, and any number of other projects currently in the works.
How’s this for a start?
Now to end…
The End.

Welcome to the Cabin blogosphere. The end.
And so
We raise a cup of LOL and bid you ahoy!
Good Job!
You did a good job for your first effort, Mr. White. The principles for writing a blog are pretty much the same as for writing anything else. Write about something for which you feel passion. You are obviously passionate about videography and film making. The rest of us would enjoy reading about some of the techniques you employ and some of your experiences you have had in practicing your craft. I look forward to reading your future posts, and thank you for this one.
SO
How can a band be a former local band wouldn't they be a band from Conway that moved or is out on the road.
They have a whole bunch of local shows in April for a former local band.
BTW
What? No visuals?
Looking forward to stories from behind the lens... And who are these powers that be? I'd like to thank 'em for their good idea. Thanks for giving this a go.
Oops!
May soon regret the "powers that be" comment.
