A new type of haunted house that won't leave folk in stitches is scheduled to open this weekend in Pennsylvania.
When folks enter the house, they are asked to strip down to their birthday suits and roam among the ghosts and zombies and spooks au natural. It's the "Naked and Scared" challenge, inspired by The Discovery Channel show "Naked and Afraid" in which participants run through the woods in the nude.
Visitors are asked to remove clothing when they enter. It is returned upon departure. They escape by the skin of their teeth.
Actually, folks can go nude or prude. The prude choice is taking the tour in your undies.
Some naked truths: The nude choice is only available after midnight for those 18 and older. And monitors are stationed throughout for hormone control. No sexual behavior is allowed.
But what is a natural reaction when someone gets really scared? You grab hold of whoever is close.
By the way, there is an extra charge for having the pee or poop scared out of you.
No word if the place is situated in an old strip mall.
The lingering question. Which is the greater horror, experiencing a zombie attack and journeying through a haunted house with naked people?
Scary thought, actually.
