After traveling across country to visit my son in North Carolina, I noted two signs on the interstates and in cities on various ends of the anxiety scale:
Irritating: Road work ahead. Merge now.
Invigorating: End road work.

Long stretches of road work with no/little work being done. I've stumbled across that a few times and it has become a pet peeve of mine!
hmmm
The few times you've driven to little rock and back so far? Absolutely annoying!
My favorite
Bridge may ice in cold weather. DUH! Especially when they are posted on the tiniest little bridge over a 3 foot creek.
Where?
Falling rock
I always say "where?" and start looking up.
One of my pet peeves now is
One of my pet peeves now is that stretch on I-40 on Brinkley. There are electronic signs warning of the construction miles in advance and that is good. What is irritating, as many of us know who have traveled that stretch, is sometimes you get through with no problem and other times you sit in a parking lot for an hour. The signs say, "Use Alternate Route." The problem is that sometimes traffic is flowing smoothly and you don't need to use an alternate route. So, considering these signs are electronic, I wish they could be updated accurately and inform us to use alternate route when it is actually needed. Otherwise the sign is meaningless and you quit paying attention.
AMEN!
"I second that emotion."
OR
You could ask Rick to fly his drome ahead of you and give you updates.
