On a weekend trip to Dallas, Texas, my wife was talking about a fairly high chance of rain from what she saw on The Weather Channel forecast on her smart phone.
Five minutes after it was supposed to start raining, I looked at the sky. Sunny. Not a cloud to be seen.
Strange.
The forecast called for chilly temperatures the next day with a high of 52. However, the local weathermen were predicting temperatures in the 70s.
Huh?
My wife checked her phone again and searched for Dallas, Texas. Turns out she had orginally gotten the forecast for Dallas, Oregon.
A different climate.
Bet you didn't know there was a Dallas, Oregon.
The smart phone knows geography.
