It's interesting that the biggest fashion trend to come out of the Oscar ceremony was set by a 9-year-old girl.
Since Quvenzhane Wallis, nominated for Best Actress for "Beasts of the Southern Wild," appeared with her puppy purse on the red carpet, the item has been flying off the shelves, according to retailers.
Parents of young girls: Be prepared for a bite out from the purse to the pocketbook. Spouses and significant others : Be prepared for puppy love.
In purse-suit of further happiness, I suspect marketers will expand this craze with a whole line of animal -themed purses depending on the mood one is in:
Cat? Tiger? Panda? Bear? Rhino? Elephant? Hippo? Giraffe?
And for the more exotic: Aardvaark, Playtypus.
Or the Old McDonald's Farm line: Cow, Chick, Horse, Goat .
There could be a jungle collection, a domestic collection, a birds of prey collection, a dinosaur collection.
The possibilities are almost endless.
"Beasts of the Southern Wild," "Beasts of the Amazon Wild" Beasts of the American Wild" "Beasts of the Desert Wild."
Afraid of public embarrassment by what someone may be carrying on the arm? That's basis for another kind of "concealed carry" law.

I am no stranger to the puppy purse. My 4-year-old chose one last week and has been toting it around ever since.
Problem is, they don't hold much. She can only fit a few bracelets and some hand sanitizer in hers.
But I think you're on to something.

Them a Stuffie!!!!
Well...
...if they ever make a zebra one, my daughter will try to raid her already underfunded college fund to buy one.
