There was speculation, and reports from mainstream media, that there would be a great James Bond reunion at the Oscars — with all six actors who portrayed him in the official Bond movies gathering on the same stage for the 50-year anniversary.
It didn't happened.
I was shaken and not stirred.
What happened?
Were they all kidnapped and held captive by some evil mastermind?
Did they have to cancel and head out to different ports of call to save the world from some evil "take over the world device?"
Were they all "busy" after an unofficial reunion of Bond girls?
Did they have one too many martinis and missed the wakeup call?
I was disappointed until I heard 76-year-old Shirley Bassey belt out "Goldfinger" with the same brashness and vigor she did in the original movie almost 50 years ago.
Her voice still has the Midas touch.

Complained about Bassey's performance being over-the-top, but I dug it. She still got the chops, no doubt.
If you played the original
If you played the original soundtrack and the one from Sunday, I think it would be pretty hard to tell the difference
well
There was probably some Gold Bond on stage.
