We'll take a more light-hearted look at the Manti Te'o situation in a new batch of "David's Citations" in Sunday's sports section.
But this story gets more and more bizarre as reports of faked death and drug dealers enters the conversation.
With all that, I don't think this affects the Notre Dame linebacker's draft potential as much as his performance against Alabama, which had an offensive line and running backs similar to what Te'o would face in the pros. Te'o is a good college player, an emotional leader.
But I don't think he's a great college player. He and Notre Dame were obviously both overrated. He may surprise, but I think he has "pro bust" written all over him. And middle linebackers don't usually go high in the draft.
