Reports are pre-orders for the upcoming IPhone 5 sold out in an hour.
What many didn't realize is the seemingly hundreds of IPhone connectors, charging cords, phone chargers will not fit the new IPhone. The new one, supposed called Lightning to replace the old Thunderbolt, will no doubt come out soon, for a price of course.
It's the old Gillette trick. Come out with a new sleek razor. The old blades don't fit. So you raise the price of blades.
I suspect, maybe a century from now, archeologists will discover, all over the world, piles and piles of electronic charging devices. Then, they will try to figure out what in the heck all these things were used for.
That will be difficult to "Dock-ument."
