Add thumb up/down or stars to articles and blog posts

Can the tech at the LCD add the ability to either thumb up or down an article or blog post or rate it with the stars?  That way when people post rumors and trash on the website others that know it is false can rate it properly.

The Other End of the Spectrum

On the other end of the spectrum, an arrangement like that would give us a quick option for complimenting articles and blog posts that we found particularly well done or appealing.

And of course

It will give people the ability to thumbs up absolutely stupid posts and thumbs down really helpful or thoughtful posts.

I think if you care enough about it you'll post a comment. You can convey a heck of a lot more in a short comment than you can with a simple thumbs up or thumbs down.

Don't be lazy! ;)

Well.............

Thumbs up? Yawn.
Thumbs down? It means one of the reasons I'm here is working. I think I once got 10 for one comment.

Life is good!

Well..........

Speaking of thumbs up, Is I destined to replace D next to a name on ballots? There is one local D candidate on the Benton County ballot. I realize there are few liberals here and in conservative areas who wants a D beside their name. There were several I candidates. Interesting.
