Conway and FCSO Warrant List

If these police agencies have addresses for all the people with warrants, why are they not going to these locations and looking for them? There's a few in my apartment complex and I could walk over and start knocking on doors just as easy as the police could.

Amnesty Option

Some town in Ohio just did an amnesty program in cooperation with a local church that brought in over 400 warranted individuals...most were simply bench warrants and were settled on the spot with either new court dates or fines or time served.

Faulkner Co. should examine this option considering our town wasn't smart enough to see the recession coming from a country mile away and will have significantly less tax revenue to pay the police to chase these folks around town.

Warrart List

1st - Deadmen CAN'T pay no bills..... Please check over your list. I have noticed at least two dead ppl on the list.. And good luck collecting b/c 9 times out of 10 they didn't leave a WILL.

2nd - If someone violated their probation from 2004 and it is 2009 why are you just now issuing a Warrant for arrest. Someone fell asleep on the job....

3rd - Why is the Church Secretary in the Paper for Hot Checks not once but 2 times? PPL get a CLUE & we let these people govern our churches and money...

a friend of mine heard

They told a friend of mine that even if they did take the time to drive out to the boonies to serve a warrant, if they knock and the person who answers the door lies and says they aren't there then they can't do anything...even if the person is peeking through the blinds at them. I looked up someone and I don't think they are fully disclosing all warrants.
hmmm...why did you look up your churches secretary? I'm just curious.

Reply to hmmm... I'm just curious

I was just curious as well & was looking at the list of Warrants & just happen to run across the names of some ppl & one of them happened to be the churches secretary....

It's not like I put her name in there and just looked it up....I was just curious too..... More ppl should look, you just might find your deacon or trustee's name on the list, you never know who is on the list until you skim down and look... We entrust our money with these ppl

Ppl shouldn't write hot checks, steal or do whatever else crime if they don't want to be publicly humiliated, especially if you hold an office in the Church or any other organization.... that's all I am saying

It isn't complete AND it has flaws

Yes, for some this can be a good thing. We found a 3 yr old parking ticket on here that we knew absolutely nothing about, and there was a warrent. More than likely a ticket that blew off while I was at work at that time and having to use the 2hour parking downtown in front of AMC b/c there was not enough parking for everyone. B/c of the list, we found out and got it taken care of. But as someone also pointed out, not all warrents are on here, and that is a FACT. And, there's flaws in it, as the lady above has unfortunately experienced. This list can be a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing. And the PD has been filled with calls and frantic people since this was put on this site. Now, agreed, if someone you trust with your money is writing hot checks and such, definitely not a good thing. And what does it matter if they searched for that person or not, what matters is their name is there, HOWEVER, this information could be false, or, it could be the wrong person with the same name, that has already happened as well. So be very cautious of the list. Maybe, give your church secretary a call before you blast them, b/c not everybody has seen the list. Let her know, from one Christian to another, that her name is on the list, and she might want to call the Conway PD, as it may be a mistake, you never know. Unfortunately, since you've told everybody here, if it is a mistake, everybody will think something of her that isn't true (yes it's a public list, but not everybody knows about it or had found her name yet). Think before you act, if you were mistakingly put on the list for whatever reason, would you want your job or reputation at risk because someone blasted you out before finding out if it in fact was true or just another mistake? it may be true and it may not, but as said, this list has flaws, find out first, blast later.

ISSUES

This definitely has issues and I would strongly recommend that it be removed from the LCD site. I have a friend who has listed both a county and a city warrant. He has called and they have told him that no warrant exists for him. This could potentially cause some sever ramifications for a person that is listed and does not have a warrant. I see potential for a law suit from my friend against the LCD for posting false and slanderous allegations.

all righty then staryeyedmom...

I'm sure if it is a mistake they will change it and appologize for any errors made, but all in all it is a matter of honesty and integrity for all parties involved. However, there are criminals and drop dead parents prancing around the country acting holier than thou and spreading lies about their "circumstances" and all the parties involved and I feel it is about time they are finaly held accountable. The error I mentioned has been changed ;>) all except for 1 major offense that should be made public for the sake of children who suffered for years due to this being 'overlooked' for SO many years. I have a feeling this will also be rectified soon. If noone has anything OR anyone to hide then it should all be fine. It is an awful situation not to have the money to take care of things, but to lie cheat and steal, hide any fugitive for ANY offense is unforgivable and I am sure that all involved in law enforcement will agree. I am all for someone being set free from the public's embarrassing sting once they have owned up and paid for their crimes, but those who haven't should be shown for their true colors. I commend the law enforcers for making an almost completely honest acknowledgement and the LCD for giving them an opportunity to aware the public of the thugs activity around here. It is one big step for honest justice....now about those non-payers of their child support??? I'll check back later and let's hope it is all out in the open like we all know it should be. Thanks again CPD and FCSO for doing such a great job and lets make it all right for honest sake.
