“We are delighted to host such a noted Shakespearean authority here in Arkansas,” said Joy Bowen, education director for ARcare. “Dr. Smith’s partnership with the Foundation is a true grassroots attempt to bring culture to eastern Arkansas, and we invite everyone to attend these one-of-a-kind presentations.”

Smith studied at the universities of Lancaster and Leicester and has lectured in Italy, France, Holland, Australia, Poland and the United States. He is the author of Social Shakespeare and is a trustee of the British Shakespeare Association. His presentations are free and open to the public.
