Conway Community Arts to present ‘Daddy’s Dyin’, Who’s Got the Will?’
Conway Community Arts will present Daddy’s Dyin’, Who’s Got the Will? by Del Shores on Aug. 6, 7, and 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Aug. 9 at 2:30 p.m. in McCastlain Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus.
Daddy’s Dyin’... centers around the imminent death of the family patriarch. As the whole family returns to the homestead, the quarreling siblings are wrecking havoc as they desperately search for the misplaced will. It’s a rollicking comedy about family, fortunes, and philandering. The 1990 film version featured Beau Bridges, Beverly D’Angelo and Judge Reinhold.
Cast members include Len Schlientz, Colin Robinson, Misty Allen, Chris Withers, Kay Baudier, Wendy Miers, Dana Robbins, and Dana Clark. The play is under the direction of Dr. Dan Skelton with stage management by Charlotte Garrett.
Tickets go on sale Monday, July 27 and are $10 for adults and $5.00 for students. Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made by calling 733-6220.
The play does contain some strong language and may not be suitable for all audiences.
