Students work with hands during math, science event

Springhill Elementary School in Greenbrier recently held a math and science night at the school.

According to the school’s website, students who attended were able to engage in many hands-on activities including making snow, making trees out of cups, creating shelves for elves, making rafts, engineering structures to hold books and designing trebuchets.

The website stated that the school’s choir sang Christmas carols for guests as they were being greeted and appearances by Santa and Mrs. Clause were also made.
