Greenbrier man suspected of inappropriatly exposing himself to toddler

A Greenbrier man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of sexually exposing himself to a 3-year-old child last October.

According to a probable cause affidavit, a woman who cared for the child contacted authorities after learning 61-year-old David Simon Stoliker had inappropriately exposed himself to a 3-year-old child.

The affidavit states the woman, who was the child’s babysitter at the time, reported the incident to the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office after first reaching out to the toddler’s mother. The woman said the child’s mother confronted Stoliker about the allegations “and he admitted to being indecent with the juvenile two times.”

Stoliker was questioned at the sheriff’s office just over a month after the alleged incident occurred and was later charged after the investigation into the allegations continued.

During his interview with Faulkner County investigators, Stoliker admitted to indecently exposing himself to the toddler two separate times.

“During the recorded post Miranda interview Mr. Stoliker admitted to asking the juvenile to touch his penis on two occasions which were about a month apart,” the affidavit reads. “Mr. Stoliker said the child followed him into the bathroom while he was urinating and that is when he asked.”

He was arrested Tuesday on two counts of sexual indecency with a child. He has since been released from the county jail. A no contact order bars him from any interactions with the juvenile in this case.

Stoliker is set to appear in Faulkner County Circuit Court at 9 a.m. Oct. 16 for a plea and arraignment hearing.
