Spelling competition heats up Saturday
SPECIAL TO THE LOG CABIN
About 60 students from schools in Faulkner County will compete in the Faulkner County Spelling Bee at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Conway High School auditorium.
The winner of the spelling bee will represent the county in the state finals. The winner there will have the chance to compete in Scripps National Spelling Bee in May.
Doors will open for registration at about 8:15 a.m. The event is free and open for the public.
