About 500 business professionals toured booths where local businesses showed their wares and services Thursday during the 2012 Business Expo at the Conway Expo Center and Fairgrounds.
The Expo was made up of an 8 a.m. breakfast, a business-to-business trade show and Taste of Conway. The event is the largest one-day expo the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce has hosted, according to a news release. More than 100 exhibitors participated.
While most people at the trade show were business professionals, some residents turnout to see what Conway has to offer and to pick up treats, they said.
Evelyn Clements and her sister Norma Hall and daughter Nancy Penny stopped at the Blue Bell Creameries booth to pick out some ice cream treats. The sisters come to the expo every year, they said.
“We see friends and visit a lot and have fun,” Clements said. “(We) get to taste everything.”
